Alison, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, is a Maryland licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mobile Wellness Services. She brings over a decade of nursing experience and spent most of her career caring for individuals in rural and underserved communities. Alison is deeply committed to making healthcare more accessible, personalized, and supportive.

She created Mobile Wellness Services to meet the needs of busy individuals who want convenient, high-quality care without the barriers of traditional healthcare settings. Through a telehealth platform, Alison offers medical weight loss services, along with personalized guidance on nutrition, supplements, and overall wellness.

Alison’s approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and genuine connection. She takes the time to listen, understand each client’s goals, and develop realistic, sustainable plans that fit into everyday life. What services do you offer?

We provide a comprehensive, medically supervised approach to wellness, including:

Do you require a subscription?

No. We do not require subscriptions.

Everyone’s wellness journey is different, and we believe in flexible care. Your consultation fee can be applied toward any purchases if you choose to move forward with treatment.

Do you offer in-office appointments?

No, all visits are conducted via telehealth.

This allows you to access care conveniently from anywhere. Appointments are available most evenings and weekends.

Weight Loss & GLP-1 Questions

How fast should I start losing weight?

The first step is to stop ongoing weight gain and stabilize your metabolism.

Healthy, sustainable weight loss typically occurs at:
👉 1–2 pounds per week

Weight gain doesn’t happen overnight, and lasting weight loss takes consistency, commitment, and the right medical support.

What should I eat for optimal weight loss?

For personalized nutrition guidance, we recommend consulting with a registered dietitian.

For general planning, many patients find success using AI tools to:

  • Build meal plans based on foods they enjoy

  • Generate grocery lists

  • Discover simple, high-protein recipes

I’m not very hungry—why am I not losing weight?

This may indicate that your GLP-1 dose is too high.

Even on medication, your body still needs adequate nutrition. As a general guideline, you should be able to consistently consume:

  • ~30 grams of protein per meal

  • ~30 grams of fiber per day

  • About half your body weight (lbs) in ounces of water daily

If you’re unable to meet these targets, your dosing may need adjustment.

Women’s Health & Hormonal Considerations

I have menopausal symptoms—why isn’t this working?

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can significantly impact metabolism, fat storage, and weight loss response.

Some research suggests that addressing hormonal balance may improve overall weight loss outcomes when combined with medical weight management. Individual results vary.

Do you prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

Not at this time.

We recommend speaking with your primary care provider or OB/GYN for evaluation and support. Some treatments may be covered by insurance.

If I order medication, how long does it take to arrive?

Orders ship Monday through Thursday and typically arrive within 24–48 hours.
